We invite Guacimo Lodge guests to share their observations of natural wildlife with us. Be it mammals, birds, reptiles/amphibians, or insects, your recordings will be uploaded to the project Indio Maiz Biodiversity under iNaturalist platform

 

 

Access to a larger community of nature lovers and biologists

 

iNaturalist is a social network of naturalists, citizen scientists and biologists built on the concept of sharing observations of biodiversity around the globe.

 

Your observations, be them sounds or pictures, will be identified and shared among a much larger community. This will help in learning about composition, abundance, distribution patterns (for example migration patterns) of biodiversity in Nicaragua and specifically in Indio Maiz buffer zone.

 

 

Should you want to directly join the platform and upload your pics and observations during your visit to San Juan river and Indio Maiz Reserve, please download iNaturalist app and follow its guidelines and tutorials on how to make an observation.
