Travelling to San Juan river

Please note Guacimo Lodge is only accesible by water! We can help you with transportation from San Carlos with our boat. The trip is comfortable, around 2 hours and 30 minutes navigating through small towns and forest.

If your starting point is Managua International Airport, Granada or San Juan del Sur, please don´t hesitate to contact us. We organize trips be it for solo travellers, couples or groups and can pick you up at any point. Allow 4 to 5 hours of driving through the great landscapes of Chontales and one small stop over for a nice coffee in Juigalpa!
