Research at Guacimo Lodge
Climate change is modifying how animals live and distribute for hunting and mating.
Registration of species and subspecies inhabiting Indio Maiz buffer zone helps us in understanding its ecosystem and how climate change is impacting it. We work with a team of biologists for data gathering and register it under eNaturalist and eBird digital platforms.
Through our annual event “become a naturalist” a group of biologists and nature lovers gather for a three-day immersion period at Guacimo Lodge forest reserve. They identify wildlife, exchange knowledge and compile data registered for valuable information. Join and be part of this community!
