Conservation at Guacimo Lodge

Through sustainable forestry, Guacimo lodge has planted a total of 14,000 trees in deforested or degraded areas.
Guacimo Lodge runs 100% on solar power.
Our architectural design adopts natural ventilation through window screens and ceiling openings. The impact of the construction on the soil and the terrain was minimal.
Guacimo was built by local masons and artisans from the San Carlos and El Castillo communities.
We offer limited accommodation in order to improve interaction with nature and avoid the adverse effects of mass tourism.
