  • Our driver awaits for you at the given pick-up point in Granada or Managua and delivers you directly to San Carlos port. Transfer time is around 4hrs through the landscapes of Chontales with a stop in Juigalpa for a nice coffee.
  • Once in San Carlos port, you receive your boat tickets San Carlos to El Castillo. Guacimo Lodge has reserved and bought your seats in advance.
  • At your arrival to El Castillo, a Guacimo Lodge representative awaits for you at the dock and takes you on our private boat to the lodge. This is a short, 15 min transfer. Guacimo Lodge is located close to Indio Maiz reserve and it is only reachable by the river San Juan!
