We feel very proud Sammy Rainbow Furnival, a London-based yoga instructor offering expertly planned yoga retreats in the UK and abroad, has selected Guacimo Lodge in their list of 2025 yoga retreat destinations. Participants on these retreats have the opportunity to grow their yoga practice, meet like-minded individuals, and learn about different cultures.
The Nicaragua Retreat is taking place from November 26th to December 3rd, 2025, and will offer an immersive experience in Nicaragua’s natural beauty, combining yoga with cultural excursions.
The retreat will explore different philosophical and physical focuses in order to explore the spectrum of what yoga has to offer and will dive into its full practice through philosophy, mantra, pranayama, meditation and reflection.
Wildlife and local culture will be a central point due to Guacimo Lodge location in Indio Maiz Biosphere Reserve buffer zone as well as the activities selected to complement yoga practice. These include Guacimo Lodge special Canoeing Indio Maiz tour where guests canoe down the San Juan river up to Indio Maiz Reserve for a guided hike, to continue canoeing small Bartola river up to a place called El Playon for a bath in the forest. Zompopo tropical forest trail, a hike passing through tropical water channels and giant trees, a visit to a local family farm or walking through El Castillo river town are also part of this immersive experience.
